Local & Regional Rail Organizations
The Rail Passengers Association works closely with a national network of state and regional rail advocacy organizations. These groups provide on-the-ground advocacy, monitor local service, and engage with state transportation agencies and legislatures.
Find a Local Organization
Rail passenger advocacy organizations operate throughout the United States. They may focus on:
- A specific Amtrak corridor or route
- A state or multi-state region
- Commuter and regional rail systems
- High speed rail initiatives
Start a Local Chapter
If there is no active rail passenger organization in your area, consider starting one. The Rail Passengers Association can provide:
- Guidance and organizational resources
- Connections to our national advocacy network
- Access to research and policy materials
- Support for your state-level advocacy work
Contact us at members@railpassengers.org to discuss establishing an affiliate or chapter in your region.
